Those look pretty cool, the first one might not be operable as our overnight can frequently be -13F, the second one is artic tested to -40. Rechargeable batteries have charging limits below freezing and the second one seems to have heating to help that.
My questions about these are: the clearing rate, I saw 6000sqft with 1" for the first one, I didn't notice on the other one. its too bad they don't quote at 6" or 12". Can you tell it which sides are safe or preferred for discharge and how far should it should discharge? I could imagine it discharging into the building or cars. can you set minimum amount of snow before it activates? The cycle timing is going to be key, if it activates at 1" and takes 2 hours (12,000sqft), does the battery last for 2 hours and what if we're getting 1" / hour snowfall? it will be behind and not have charging time. So you program an area, how does it react the cars? will it plow empty spaces and discharge the correct direction? If there is blowing snow and cars are white, can it tell it is an object to avoid? Liability if something happens?
Would you be able to get a plow contractor to come if this can't deal with it? calling the morning of a storm would probably mean no clearing until midday, most of the humans have routes they are doing in the early hours and AM. Would a provider let you have a contract that says If over 12" come plow? hmm
