Are you aware of any policy/ rules and regulations among our membership that I can look at to help formulate parking policy for Ski Run Condos?

At Chateaux, we have 27 units and 32 parking spaces.  All unassigned.  During the winter, people park further apart so we effectively have fewer spaces. All vehicles must display a parking pass.  Renters are only allowed one parking pass per unit.  Owners have two passes but are strongly encouraged to have only one vehicle during peak ski days

Our biggest problem during ski season has been poachers, so our property manager checks parking passes daily.

    Les:

First you need to look at your Declaration, Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R's) for what can and can't be parked.  Next, you need to address if there are parking conditions that restrict any owner/resident for entering or exiting a garage if applicable.  finally, you need to look at the towing restrictions for Colorado and what needs to be inplace if a vehicle needs to be towed as it's blocking the entry/exit of another owner/resident.

Hi Les, in The Alders we do not allow parking on the street. That's pretty much the extent of our parking policy.
